The Spa Valley Railway

Trains glorious trains...

I think I will always be a Railway Child, despite the daily commute to London. I do love the steam trains at Spa Valley Railway. It is great joy to ride them on a summer day. It quite takes me back to the days when I used to get on at Tunbridge Wells West and go off to Groombridge - of course they were diesel trains by then. Now the train stops at the High Rocks Inn Halt which has a lovely garden and even if you don't get off there you can wave to all the people in the garden. My LA in-laws loved it - both the train and the garden!
