FAULTY GOODS

I have now been told by the owner MR JOHNATHAN WRIGHT that I will get a refund if I apologise to his staff, and remove these posts from here and if do not remove these posts, he will take me to court.

    The owner has now acknowledged the goods are faulty but is still refusing me a refund unless I apologise to his staff!!!!!!!!!! If you purchase anything from this shop, check and get in wrighting thier returns policy on FAULTY GOODS, as they do not appear to have one.

    I purchased 3 black lights from this shop. When my electrican put them up, none of the lights hung straight. My electrician called Illuminations and was told by the shop owner, they would straighten over time. That night when I switched the lights on they were 3 different colours. 1 black, 1 burgundy and 1 a mixture of these two colours. Two weeks later they still did not hang straight and the way they are balanced on the inside of the light,the shades moved . So I had 3 different coloured lights all hung at different angles. I called the shop and informed them I would be returneing these lights when my electrician could take them down. 4 days later I took them back to the shop. I was flatley refused a refund and the woman in the shop didnt even inspect the lights. The owner Mr Wright was telephoned and also refused me a refund . I have now taken this matter up with the credit card company. But I would just like to warn any potentail customers of this shop, they are so nice and friendly when you are purchasing something. However will not give refunds and are totally unreasonable and unhelpful with faulty goods. The owner will not return my calls.

    A real Camden Road Aladdin's cave!

       

    I popped into Illuminations on Camden Road earlier this week to get a couple of new lamps for my bedroom on the recommendation of a friend, and was so impressed. Great choice and such helpful staff that I'll continue to shop here in favour of my normal hunting grounds of Homesense, Laura Ashley or BHS for lighting. A huge range of wall, ceiling and tabletop lighting and all very reasonably priced. Great stuff.
