Have you seen William Scott-Russell? Police launch missing person appeal

Kent Police is growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man who was reported missing on Saturday evening (6 October).

William Scott-Russell, 51 years-old, who lives in East Sussex, was last seen at the BP service station in Hastings Road (A21) at Matfield at 6.45 pm.
Kent Police and local search and rescue volunteers have been carrying out searches to locate Mr Scott- Russell.
William Scott-Russell is described as a white man of broad build and was wearing a dark V neck jumper, checked shirt, dark blue jeans and brogue shoes. It is believed he was also wearing an olive green coat, and may have been heading towards Pembury.
Mr Scott-Russell is urged to contact police.
Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Kent Police on 101, quoting reference 06-1494.
