Soprano-tastic!

Fantastic little tapas restaurant in the Old High Street. It is a little cosy and you can certainly join in with your neighbours conversation, but I think this adds to the atmosphere and authenticity of a Tapas Bar. The food is gorgeous and mostly authentic Spanish Tapas, save for the garlic bread. Me and my companion ordered 8 dishes between us which was more than enough. I strongly recommend the salted cod. The waitresses were lovely and extremely attentive. We were originally given white wine when we had ordered red. The waitress was very apologetic and exchanged it straight away. We also asked if the patatas bravas could be cooked without the cheese, again with no problem. It isn't a particularly cheap night out as the individual dishes and wine mount up, but the quality is excellent. Make sure you book at the weekends as it gets very busy, there are two dinner seatings, one at 7 and the other at 9. With a severe lack of authentic Tapas in Tunbridge Wells I can't believe it took me so long to visit but I will definitely be returning soon.

Soprano is a tapas and wine bar situated on the high street in Tunbridge Wells. This trendy place offers a food menu featuring delicious sandwiches ad well as the likes of seafood, risottos and a specials menu. As a bar they offer a great selection of fine wines and cocktails as is a decent evening hang out.
