Kent Police have arrested two men on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting at Moorhen Walk in Greenhithe on Monday night.

Officers received several calls after gun shots had been heard in the area at around 9.50pm. An armed response unit was sent to the address but they found it empty.
Later in the evening a call was received from Darenth Valley Hospital reporting that a 51-year-old man had been brought in by relatives with shotgun wounds to his abdomen and head. He remains in a stable condition.
Yesterday morning at around 6am armed officers went to an address in Sherwood Road, Tunbridge Wells, where they arrested two men in connection with the incident. The 42-year-old and a 24-year-old were questioned yesterday and remain in custody this morning.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police appreciates that the incident may have caused some alarm but would like to reassure the local community that police officers continue to carry out a number of inquiries in the area and are also keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or the moments leading up to it."
