What a fabulous clinic

I visited the Skin and Laser Clinic last month, the new premises is clean and professional. The staff are all so knowledgeable I completely trusted them every step of the way. I first saw Dr. Nina she carried out Botox and Juvederm on my first treatment this has taken years off me I love the results so natural. Im going back for laser IPL hair removal now on my legs and bikini line......I cant wait to go back . Thoroughly recommend to anyone.

    IPL and a warm welcome

       

    Being transgender one never knows how people will react so it can be stressful. When I enquired about laser treatment or electrolysis I was delighted how Celeste and the team made me feel welcome and didn't blink an eye. They were very understanding and appreciative of my situation. Consultation was free and very reassuring. My treatment course has started and I'm very happy and relaxed. Once the course is complete, I'm looking forward to more! Thank you, girls!

    Chemical Peel

       

    Last year, I had a chemical peel done at the Skin and Laser Clinic. I thoroughly enjoyed the treatment, the staff were very kind and professional. The standard of the treatment was very high. Definetely the most relaxing experience I had for sometime. The effect of the treatment was visible as my skin felt soft and looked clean.

    Goodbye Red Nose Day & Hello Pretty lady!

       

    Yes, it was as simple as that to be rid of the little spider’s web of red veins that had set up around my nose.
    After years and more cover sticks than I can recall I decided enough was enough and headed into the very impressive Skin and Laser Clinic, in Tunbridge Wells. After an initial test area was done and left for 24hours I settled back into the chair for what turned out to be a very brief treatment. The thread veins literally disappeared immediately – amazing!
    Some cooling gel was applied to my rather pink skin and then I headed off to meet girlfriends for lunch. (I had my make-up with me, so on parking the car whipped out my mirror to tone down any residual pink and did a double take: The pinkness and red veins had gone. GONE!!)
    Without the halo of veins my nose also appeared smaller (no bad thing). I realised I didn’t need to apply any make-up and only just managed to stop myself from skipping into the restaurant singing “I’m so pretty!” Of course, I promptly told my friends what I’d been up to that morning. Oh well, I never could keep a secret...

    Skin tightening!

       

    In the last few years I have noticed my skin is certainly not as firm as it was in my twenties ( I am 31) and the pores on my cheeks are much larger than before. I have also begun to develop nasalabial folds (lines that run from corner of nostril to corner of mouth) and fine lines around my eye area and forehead. I decided to attend the Royal Tunbridge Wells Skin & Laser Clinic because it had the best variety of treatments, enabling me to pick the most suitable option. It also had great reviews online.I had arranged a consultation which is free of charge with one of their skin experts. The clinic was beautiful inside, very clean and the receptionists were friendly and welcoming. During the consultation my skin was assessed using the latest computerised and photographic technology and it was decided the most effective treatment for me would be a course of Fotona Fractional T3 Photo Rejuvenation. I was told how the laser works, what to expect and how I would feel during the treatment. My after care needs were also addressed. I booked a treatment for a few days later. On the day of my appointment I was very nervous, as most people would be on their first treatment! Natasha was to carry out the treatment for me and she made me feel at ease straight away. Natasha showed me the laser and explained it would not hurt but just feel very warm on my skin. If at any time I felt uncomfortable I just needed to raise my hand and she would stop.
    The treatment took just under an hour and I actually felt very relaxed feeling no pain whatsoever. I noticed a difference almost immediately although Natasha advised that I would see optimum results after 3 or 4 treatments. I can already notice the folds at the sides of my mouth appear reduced, and my skin feels tighter. I have had positive comments from friends who have asked what I have done differently with makeup etc, saying I look younger - but they can't tell why! I cannot wait for my next appointment which needs to be a month after the first. Watch this space!!

    IPL for my underarms!

       

    Ive just had my first session of IPL on my underarms, and I cannot recommend this place enough - the staff are so polite and friendly, its in a lovely building and is so clean! i had a test done to check I was able to have the IPL and then went for the treatment. it only took 15mins and is so effective that theres a 30% reduction in hair growth after the first treatment! Im going back again in a month for my next treatment, and cannot wait! this is such a professional, welcoming clinic and i would definitely encourage people to book here!
