Trinity Theatre set to receive £98,000 Community Grant

Funding has been granted to twenty local community groups and organisations as part of the Council’s Community Grants Programme for 2011/12.

The grants will support the delivery of a wide range of important projects including:

• A substantial grant of £201,000 will enable the Citizens Advice Bureaux to provide free, confidential advice to any resident who needs it on a variety of issues including debt management, consumer advice and employment issues.

• Trinity Theatre will receive a grant of £98,000 to continue providing a full and varied programme for residents and visitors and develop outreach and educational work.

• Tunbridge Wells Community Studios will receive a grant of £5,000 to help provide, from its centre in Southborough, facilities for music rehearsal, studio recording and DJ workshops, and instrument tuition for disadvantaged young people.
