Next NCT Nearly New Sale. Sellers & Volunteers Needed!

We are now taking registrations for the next NCT Nearly New Sale. Details are as follows:
Next NCT Sale is in Wadhurst. Are you able to support it?
Saturday 26th March
10:30am - 12:00noon
Uplands Community College, High Street, Wadhurst, East Sussex
Sellers to arrive from 9:30am to 10:15am.
If you would like to register, please let me know as soon as possible as spaces will be limited to 75 sellers.
We will require 15 volunteers to help run the sale from 9am until 1pm on the day. These sellers will benefit from a reduced commission rate of 20%. Spaces for volunteers will be allocated on the day to the first 15 volunteers to register an interest in volunteering and be allocated a volunteer apron on a strictly first-come, first-served basis, with NCT members being given priority. To qualify for the reduced rate volunteers must stay until the end of the sale and sign out. Sellers should complete setting up the sale before unloading their own goods to sell.
We are continuing to use our new seller system and will provide new sellers with a seller pack, including instructions and your seller number. Official labels are charged at
£1 per 100 and ties at £1 per 75 and must be used on all goods you wish to sell at the Sale. When registering please state how many of each you require as these will not be sent out unless requested. Labels and tags for future sales will be available to purchase on the day. Using this new system has improved our processing time and helped us to ensure that you receive your cheque for any sold items as soon as possible.
Cheques for sold goods will be sent shortly after the Sale. We are however offering a small number of sellers the opportunity to take their commission away in cash within half an hour of the sale closing for an additional fee of
£2 per seller. This will only be available to sellers who have correctly labelled all their sold items. Please let me know when registering if you are interested in taking advantage of this new service which we will be trialling at this sale and will be limited to 5 sellers at this time.
Please ensure you have provided us with your current postal address to which we can send the seller pack and your cheque.
I have recently taken over from Wendy Marston as the Nearly New Sales Co-ordinator for the Tunbridge Wells and District branch and will be handling all registrations for the sales. Also on the team are Sian Dubery, the Branch Treasurer, who looks after the financial side of the sales and Jenny Sawyer who continues to do all the logistics for the Sales.
