Come and join the Workers' Educational Association (WEA) Tunbridge Wells Branch on this 10 week course that will provide you with an introduction to the study of England and international relations during the thirteenth century.

We will look at The Angevin Inheritance, King John (the worst king in English history), decoding Magna Carta, the Cathars and the Inquisition, the Rise of the Friars, Henry III and the Wonder of the World, Simon de Montfort and the Barons' Wars, Louis the Crusader King, The Girls from Provence, and Edward 1st.

You don't need any prior knowledge or qualifications to join our courses.

Timetable: 10 weekly sessions from Wednesday 24th September 2014, 10.30am - 12.30pm.

Venue: Camden Centre, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2PW

Fee: £84, but it may be completely FREE if you are in receipt of an income-related benefit.
