Natty Speaks, from The Industry Nerds brings you Defcon.

Friday 12th April at Th Forum In Tumbridge Wells. This night aims to celebrate the vibrant UK hip hop scene that hides beneath the belly of the music industry.

The debut event is headlined by Phoenix Da Icefire, an up and coming emcee from London. 'Phoenix glides over creative beats and shows skills and ideas above and beyond those in the limelight'.

Supported by rising new Brighton emcee/poet Invokal. 'Invokal has his fingers in many pies, working with the creme de la creme of underground producers both here and abroad. Working deeply into syllables and metaphors, Invokal challenges the listener's belief that hip hop is all bling and attitude'.

Kicking off the night are the fabulous experimental trip hoppers Bombay Monkey, and mayhem beat creator DJ SP.
