Tunbridge Wells John Lewis staff have an extra reason to be cheerful today as they just found out that (along with 76,500 other John Lewis and Waitrose employees) they are all to receive a whopping 18% bonus of their annual salary.

I wondered why the staff at John Lewis on North Farm seemed even more helpful than usual today! Congrats to Gabby Armstrong and all her team for the resounding success of the TW store which has undoubtedly helped boost profits of the group overall up to £8.2bn sales for the year, an increase of 20% from last year.
