Being reasonably new to the area, it is often hard to find somewhere that you feel comfortable. I am specific about my coffee and passionate about cake....The Black Dog appreciates both, whilst welcoming me with a smile and warmth. The coffee is lovely and the cake selection is wonderful. I am yet to try it in the evening, mostly due to my busy schedule...however I will someday and I look forward to that experience.

We are Tunbridge Wells' aussie style cafe/bar. Monmouth coffee, breakfast, brunch, lunch & afternoon tea by day. Great tapas & wine ...

If you like The Black Dog in the day - you will love their evenings! We have been several times now because the atmosphere, tasty food and wine is ideal for drinks and nibbles (we try to do just nibbles but always fail because the menu is so tempting) with friends after work or a more laid back celebration. The tapas and sharing dishes are deliciously different - great if you fancy something different from the chains and don't want anything formal!
Recently tried this thanks to Mr & Mrs Anke's review of their evening tapas menu and agreed with their rave comments! I love quirky Camden Road anyway, always good for a wander, and it's great to see the food scene is improving all the time here too.
