The students' visit to the town is an annual event in the twinning calendar.
Some 22 young people, aged 15 – 17, from Wiesbaden Gymnasium am Mosbacherberg spent two weeks in work placements here aiming to improve their English and learn about English life.
They joined staff in a number of local businesses and organisations including the borough council.
Most of the students stayed with local families and as well as going to work each day they took part in a special sports evening at St John's Sports Centre and took in a West End show during a visit to London.
