Tunbridge Wells weather: Risk of flooding as heavy rain reaches South East
The Met Office is warning that wet weather will sweep across the South East today.
It means there will be a greater risk of flooding and disruption to transport as the water falls on already saturated ground.
Kent Highways today warned drivers to be aware of surface water on the county's roads after rain fell overnight.
Met Office weather warnings - advising people to be prepared for potentially disruptive weather conditions - are also in place for London and south east, as well as much of the country.
A Met Office spokesman said: "Heavy showers are expected to affect the area during Monday.
"Given the saturated nature of ground, the public should be aware of the possibility of further flooding and disruption to travel."
