Tunbridge Wells trending Worldwide on Twitter

Imagine a little town like Tunbridge Wells getting recognition throughout the UK, USA, Canada and even India. Well that is exactly what happened last night thanks to one local resident and her mental health awareness project.
-
Beginning to trend.... It hit over 16,000 RTs by the 17th of January
Due to Rebecca Walton's mental health awareness book project, our town was on the map for millions of people last night and throughout this morning. The project itself received over 16,000 retweets and nearly as many favourites. It's clear that this is becoming a 'hot topic'.
The book, which is being funded on crowd funding website Kickstarter has already received recognition from giant mental health charities such as Mind, The Mental Health Foundation, Sane, Rethink and Time to Change.
Over 80% of the people involved that have pledged or contributed stories to the book are from Royal Tunbridge Wells. Many local businesses have also been a part of it by offering to sponsor the book, create the design and branding, as well as helping to publish it.
The project still has a long way to go and needs just under £7,000 to reach it's target. However, if everyone who wanted to be involved just pledged £1 then it would throw the project to the top of the Kickstarter page meaning that it would be seen even more throughout the World. Kickstarter receives million of views every month, mainly from the USA. If this Tunbridge Wells project reached the top of the charts then imagine the publicity for our town.
Once the book is ready for launch in Spring there will also be a giant book launch in the Tunbridge Wells area, bringing celebrities who are involved with the book (such as one singing sensation and another very famous authoress) to the town. As well as press, publishers and many more influential people.
Now is the time to get involved, help raise awareness and do your bit for the local community, as well as the World!
