Woods Restaurant in the historic Pantiles area of Tunbridge Wells is hosting a series of art exhibitions called 'On The Walls At Woods'.

Fresh off the back of East Sussex's Art Attack legend Neil Buchanan and TV's food landscape photographer Carl Warner of Kent, the venue is continuing its support of local artists with its latest exhibition from East Grinstead based Ian Russell.

Ian is a master at catching the environment around him in Sussex and Kent and further afield with his work featuring local landscapes, seascapes, floral and animal life and his work will be on display from early December through to the end of February 2013.

Ian Russell said: "It is my joy to catch things of beauty in my photographic art and I can't think of a more attractive canvas on which to hang my work than in the lovely Georgian restaurant at Woods. I hope people will enjoy the exhibition."

Ian's exhibition is part of the ongoing displays from local artists and photographers.

Owner Sheridan Wood said: "This is the fourth display of work that we have held at Woods and not only does it help promote and support the work of local artists, it also offers customers a really attractive and varied environment in which to enjoy coffee with friends and family.

"We have recently displayed the work of Neil Buchanan and Carl Warner and we get great feedback from customers.

"It's good to be able to support local artists and it is all part of our local ethos and supporting the economy and communities in Kent and Sussex."

Following the recessionary market during 2012, Woods will make the competitively priced prints available for guests and diners for as little as £10 for a high quality A3 sized print.
