Tunbridge Wells man, 29, charged with Cumberland Walk robbery

A 29 year-old man has been charged with a robbery in Tunbridge Wells.

John William Smith, of Showfields Road, is alleged to have carried out the offence in Cumberland Walk on October 1 last year.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before Maidstone Magistrates' Court today.
Smith has also been charged with aggravated taking without consent, driving without insurance and driving whilst disqualified.
He is also accused of failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis and failing to return on bail.
