Trying to find a Primary School in Hawkenbury...

Hi my husband and I are moving to Hawkenbury from Hong Kong with our 3 children in June. I need to find a Primary school for my 2 sons to attend but don't really know where to start.
I gather that Claremont School is hardly worth putting on my list of schools I would prefer when applying as it's so popular, so any knowledge or info on any other local schools would be greatly appreciated as time is running out for us.
Many thanks! xx

Thanks, AbigailA for replying. Yes maybe we should consider still requesting Claremont, just didn't want to waste one of my choices of preferred schools if there was no chance.
No we are not considering private schools so we will probably go for St Peters and Claremont when we apply (my youngest son is 5 and as St James is a Junior School only, this means finding a different school for him, we would prefer for them both to go to the same school if possible) as you say they are the closest and I am keen on walking the boys to school if possible.
Thanks again for your advice and we very much look forward to moving to Hawkenbury and joining the community.

ReportMany thanks for posting - and first of all, good luck with the move to Hawkenbury! I'd be tempted to still apply to Claremont, you never know your luck, but you could also try the Mead School, St Peters or St James which are all closest to Hawkenbury. Are you also considering private schools?
