Jason John Whitehead hails from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia and has spent ten years on the British circuit taking standard comic starting points (girls, airport security, drugs) and making them sparkle with extraordinary and slight surreal twists. Expect intricately woven anecdotes and sharply crafted gags with an edge from this award winning stand up comedian.

JJ is incredibly comfortable on stage and knows how to turn an every day occurrence into a side splitting adventure. And be warned Whitehead is a master of sarcasm and has been known to cut any heckler to pieces, keeping the audience on his side at all times.
After an amazing 2011, Tiffany Stevenson joins compere Lloyd Griffith for the first show of 2012. She's most recently blessed your TV screens on Show Me The Funny and now for one night only you can see her in the flesh at the Therapy Room Comedy Club.
Before starting stand up in 2005 Tiffany Stevenson had already worked with some of comedy's glitterati like Ricky Gervais in The Office, John Bird in Chambers and Stephen Fry in Absolute Power. Something must have rubbed off from them, as it wasn't long before Tiffany was making waves herself.
From the Comedy Store to Glastonbury Tiffany has since made her presence felt on the club and festival scene and in 2006 she made her first of many appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in "Talk Radio" directed by comedy royalty Stewart Lee.
Completing the line up is Luke McQueen. Luke is considered one of the most exciting and inventive comedians breaking through onto the UK stand up scene. His off the wall and random sense of humour has gathered him a cult following amongst audiences and fellow comics alike.
Luke's confidence and likeable persona has made him a reliable warm up artist for the Graham Norton show, Gok Won fashion fix and The big Ask. In 2010 Luke made it all the way to the final of the English comedian of the year competition which is a strong reflection of his comedic talents.

It was a great opening show. We've got another excellent line-up on Thursday 23rd February. BBC New Comedy Award 2011 winner Angela Barnes joins Andrew Bird, Jonny Awsum and resident Compere Lloyd Griffith.

ReportThanks for posting . The standard of comedy shows we are getting in Tunbridge Wells is incredible at the moment isn't it? I'm going to see Sarah Millican on Sunday, 4 February at the Assembly Halls, but I'll definitely see if I can get to this too.
