Local retailer, SLM Vauxhall, is enabling customers in Tunbridge Wells to reap the benefits of modern technology, thanks to Vauxhall's range of web-based services.


To offer convenience, ease and superior service, the tech-savvy manufacturer has launched an all-new Customer Order Tracking system, which keeps motorists informed of the progress of their new car from order to collection.


This new digital development adds to the recently launched Online Booking Service, which saw Vauxhall become the first vehicle manufacturer to pioneer a system that enables drivers to schedule their next service or repair work online at a time and place to suit them.


Plus, combined with Vauxhall's Online Configurator, where drivers can select their chosen options to create their ideal model, there is wealth of web-based services to get customers clicking!


On the right track

The newest addition to the line-up of web-based facilities available at the dealership on Dowding Way is Vauxhall's new Customer Order Tracking technology.


To offer superior levels of service, customers purchasing a brand new Vauxhall car are now able to track the progress of their new vehicle from the point of ordering, right the way through the factory process. 


Jonathan Tatlock, General Manager at SLM Vauxhall, explains: "When a customer orders their new car, they have the option to be signed up to a new online system that will send them emails tracking the progress and build of their car as their order progresses.


"This free new facility offers a great opportunity for Vauxhall owners to be kept fully informed as to the status of their order and it certainly helps to generate a sense of excitement as people discover when their vehicle passes through each of the various stages!"


Hassle-free service and repair booking

In addition, customers at SLM Vauxhall can also take the quick and easy route to car maintenance by booking their service or repair work online using Vauxhall's easy-to-use application.


Drivers simply go to the 'Book a Service' section of and enter their registration number and mileage or select their car from a drop down list.


The new system then allows owners to access both Vauxhall's Fixed Price Repairs and Fixed Price Servicing too, which start from just £99 including labour, parts and VAT. All exclusive prices are guaranteed and cover scheduled services, repairs and MOTs. Customers also have the opportunity to enquire about other work they may require.


All the work is carried out by Vauxhall-trained technicians using only genuine parts, so owners can feel confident they're getting the best possible service as well as great value for money.

What's more, to make the process even more convenient, customers can select a time for their service or repair work to be undertaken that is convenient for them, with the potential for service slots at the dealership at just 48 hours' notice.


Choice at your fingertips

Finally, building the car of your choice has never been easier, thanks to Vauxhall's Online Configurator. Customers select the model they would like to configure at and then simply choose the options and features they wish to include, from trim, engine, colour and style to accessories.


What's more, customers can take a 360-degree virtual tour of their configured model, helping to envisage what their ideal new vehicle will look like, whilst all the while being able to see the price of their configured model.
