The table tennis star presented medals, certificates and flowers to those who had participated in a three-month initiative at the Nellington Road home.
Games played included volleyball with a balloon and hoopla with an inflatable during the Go for Gold Challenge, arranged by the National Association for Providers of Activities over the summer.
Groombridge ace Bayley scooped a silver medal in the singles and team bronze at London 2012.
Eppie Wells, activities co-ordinator at Rusthall Lodge, said: "It's not every day a medallist comes down here. He was really nice.
"The residents really enjoyed the activities. It is great that the Paralympics and Olympics inspired everyone at every stage of life."
