Crash investigators are appealing for information following a fatal road collision in Paddock Wood.

The collision occurred at 6:45pm on 3 December on Queen Street, near the Elm Tree public house, between an orange Land Rover Freelander and a red Peugeot 406.
A 73 year-old local man died at the scene. A 25 year-old man from Maidstone has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and causing death by dangerous driving and is currently in custody.
The road was closed for several hours at the junction with Pearsons Green Road to allow forensic examination of the scene.
