October 2012 Half-term holiday activities at Tunbridge Wells Museum & Art Gallery

Tunbridge Wells Museum & Art Gallery is putting on a series of its Holiday Happenings activities to coincide with schools' half-term week.

Terrific Transport is the theme for the sessions which begin on Tuesday 30 October and take place every day up to and including Friday 2 November.

Each day there will be free drop-in art and craft sessions during which young visitors can make their own bus with moving wheels to take home. 

As well as the arts and crafts, a special 'I-Spy' trail will lead visitors around the museum to hunt for transport related objects and spot the buses in each room. 

Visitors will be also be able to find out about how people used to travel and ways of getting round through the centuries.

Holiday Happenings sessions take place each day 10.30am – 12.30pm and 2 – 4pm. The activities on offer are suitable for all age groups. Children must be accompanied at all times.
