Somewhere to go.. National Army Museum.

This isn't about Tunbridge Wells, but an idea of a day out in London that may be over-looked, especially by those with children studying assorted war projects in the National Curriculum. So rather than heading to the Imperial War Museum, try the National Army Museum, hidden alongside the Chelsea Hospital. I'm sure the current War Horse exhibition is bringing in extra visitors, but there is also a wide range of other historical exhibits. Like the tardis, the 1970s exterior gives little clue to the gradual walk through the history of the Britsih Army inside, starting with the Civil War.There are plenty of children's activities, a well priced cafe, and a few picnic tables outside. The War Horse exhibition is on until August, so well worth a visit in the next lot of school holidays.
