On Thursday, 27 September at 7.30pm, a selection of Love Is Boutique clients have agreed to take to the catwalk at the High Rocks in Tunbridge Wells to demonstrate how to look fabulous in a hand-picked range of clothes and accessories.
Child's i Foundation was set up by Lucy Buck of Rotherfield with the support of her mother, Hazel, to find families for Uganda's neglected and abandoned babies.
The money raised by the fashion show will help more abandoned babies grow up with parents, instead of languishing in long-term residential care. To date, Child's i Foundation has found loving families for eighty babies who had been deserted on the streets of Kampala.
Love is Boutique, labelled a 'treasure trove' by Vogue, has been a loyal supporter of Child's i Foundation.
Boutique partner, Lynne Meek, first met Lucy when she dressed and styled her for a special fundraising event.
Lynne says "Lucy, Hazel and the Child's i Foundation are doing an amazing job and we are delighted to work with such an important charity. The aim of the evening is to increase awareness of the charity and the boutique, raise the charity some much needed money and have a fun evening while we're about it."
"Love is Boutique enjoys putting on events, and indeed our clients have come to expect it! The evening will be a chance for us to display the huge and diverse range of nearly new designer, high end High Street and vintage clothing, handbags and accessories that we sell on behalf of our large client base. We love to help to style and give fashion advice to our clients. This show is a chance for us to show just how good you can look without spending a fortune."
Good luck ladies!
