Frant man, 55, dies after crash in Ticehurst this morning

Police are investigating a collision at Ticehurst in which a 55-year-old local man died this morning (Monday, 19 November).

The man, from Frant, sadly died at the scene of the crash.

A 29-year-old woman from Hastings suffered serious injuries when her Skoda was in collision with the man's Vauxhall Astra on the B2099 at Ticehurst at about 7.40am. 

The woman was taken by air ambulance to Kings College Hospital in London.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or the driving of either of the vehicles prior to the incident to contact them on 101 quoting Operation Chaffinch.
