It seems the women of Tunbridge Wells aren't so disgusted - seeing that the flifth-fest of novels about sado-masochistic Christian Grey has been topping the town's Waterstones best seller list for weeks on end.

EL James' Fifty Shades of Grey, its sequel Fifty Shades Darker and the final installment of the trilogy Fifty Shades Freed are all sitting pretty on the chart.

And they look likely to remain there for some time to come, given that the hype over the former BBC worker's debut set of novels shows no sign of slowing down.

Have you read Fifty Shades? What did you think? And does it surprise you that it's the best-seller, by a mile, in our upmarket and distinctly upper middle class town?
