The Electric Forest returns to Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest for some half term family fun this October (22nd-30th) with an exciting new night-time trail deep into the heart of the forest.

Building on the success of last year's event, the organisers, Culture Creative, working in partnership with the Forestry Commission, have come up with a new route which snakes through coppices, close growing pines and beautiful mature trees, promising surprises for children and adults alike along the way.

Starting at the Visitor's Centre, the new route will involve local story tellers, Halloween games, and the very latest lighting and sound technology, as The Electric Forest brings light, colour and a sprinkling of autumn magic to Bedgebury.

Zoe Bottrell, director of Culture Creative said: "The Electric Forest offers an opportunity to do something different this half term. We hope people will gather family and friends together, pop on some warm clothes, outdoor shoes and arm themselves with torches and come to experience an amazing night time adventure in the forest."

There will also be the opportunity to make a night of it with various catering options on offer. "We'll be warming up the even the chilliest of October evenings with plenty of opportunities for visitors to enjoy delicious, hot home made produce available at The Pineatery or food stops around the trail," she added.

Tickets for The Electric Forest are priced at £15.50 per adult and £10 for concessions and £41.00 family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) - all fully inclusive of parking, booking fees will apply. They are available online or via the Forestry Commission box office on 03000 680 400.
