Detectives investigating an attempted robbery of a 15-year-old girl in Tunbridge Wells have released a computer generated image of a man that they would like to speak to.

The incident occurred between 2pm and 3pm on 11 January in Eridge Road, Tunbridge Wells.

The student, who was on her way home from school, was reportedly approached by a man who demanded her mobile phone.

She refused to hand over the phone and the suspect then made off empty-handed, turning left into Neville Terrace.

Police are now appealing to anyone with any information, or anyone who recognises the man in the computer generated image to get in touch.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Detective Constable Birch at Tonbridge police station by calling 101, quoting crime reference YY/796/13.

Alternatively, contact Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
